i just bought one of those exercise balls,how many reps should i do?

i'm trying to tone up my abs any tips?

No, it's not about quantity but quality. Use weights and add resistance. For example, add weight to your chest while doing crunches. You want to add enough weight so that you achieve failure by about the 10th rep. Failure means that you couldn't do another rep if you're life depended on it. Do crunches slowly and make sure your abs are fully flexed throughout the exercise. Exhale during your rep and pull in your stomach. Hold for a count of three when you reach the top of your rep, and then go back down as slowly as you can.
